Ash Ketchum would totally approve of this charger pack.

BERLIN -- Battery packs have only one purpose: to charge up your phone and gadgets on the go. They don't look cool -- they're batteries.

This Poké Ball-shaped battery pack that I found at one obscure Chinese booth at tech show IFA 2016, however, might be the coolest battery pack I've ever seen. It's perfect for Pokémon Go addicts.

The one I checked out has 12,000 mAh, which is enough to charge an iPhone 6S a little more than six times. That's plenty of power for playing Pokémon Go all day.

It has two USB ports for charging a pair of devices at once and also a micro-USB port. There's a lanyard loop for a keychain. Might I suggest hooking it to your belt loop, just like a Pokémon trainer?

The build quality surprised me with its glossy finish and clickable button (which doesn't open the Poké Ball, unfortunately).

It's hard to believe this is not an officially licensed product. I'm sure Nintendo and The Pokémon Company wouldn't approve.

Pair this Poké Ball battery with the rubber Pokémon Go catching tool thong-thingamajig and you're going to be a Pokémon Master in no time.

No word on how much it costs, but seeing as it's produced by a Chinese company based in Shenzhen, it's probably going to be cheap (if you buy it wholesale).
