The ever-enduring franchise of your childhood, Pokémon, is going into the food business.

A Pokémon Cafe is opening up in Tokyo, Japan at the Takashimaya store in Nihonbashi, and it'll be the company's first permanent restaurant.

Set to open in March 2018, the new café follows up from temporary pop-ups organised by The Pokémon Company.

The last pop-up was in 2015, and was inside a Shibuya Parco department store. Singapore also had a temporary café which opened in 2016.

Officially called Pokémon Center Tokyo DX, it will feature themed food and drink, as well as a gift shop stocked with items only available at that location.

As visitors to the country might already know, Japan already has a handful of Pokémon Center Mega stores, which has all the Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Slowpoke, etc merchandise you'll ever need in your life.

Take us there already, please?
