Gotta stream 'em all: Pokémon shows on Hulu are more popular than ever before
LOS ANGELES -- Apparently Pokémon Go fans are doing more than just catching 'em all.
Fans of the iconic Nintendo anime franchise have been streaming their favorite Pokémon-related content on Hulu.
The Santa Monica-based streaming service said Thursday it has seen a growth in viewership of its Pokémon titles since the Pokémon Go app launched earlier this month.

Pokémon content first landed on Hulu in January 2014.
However, since July 6 -- the day the app was released -- the average number of minutes watched daily have increased 343 percent, Hulu said.
In the last week, both daily viewers and minutes watched of Hulu's Pokémon content has risen an average of 13% every day.
Hulu certainly isn't the only platform to carry Pokémon-related content.
Netflix -- which has Pokémon anime in its library -- also reportedly saw s a spike in viewership of its Pokémon content.
"Pokémon shows have jumped into the most popular titles in many countries around the globe where we have Pokémon titles available," a Netflix spokesperson told CNBC.
Some Pokémon episodes are also available on Pokemon.com.
However, Hulu currently has the largest selection of Pokémon TV and film content of any SVOD service to date, with 201 episodes of TV – including the fan-favorite classic Diamond and Pearl series – as well as four movies.
