Pokemon Go has done more for family bonding since dad enforced the weekly board game night.

The mobile augmented reality game took the internet by surprise after its cultural impact hit over the past week. While most video games involve solitary play, Pokémon Go forces players to go out into the real world. So naturally, seeing a bunch of people gather in groups to play a silly game on their phone got people talking, including some parents.

While some parents footing cell phone bills are obviously concerned about their child's data usage, the game has also brought together families who just want to hang. Playing the game is just more fun when you're walking around searching for creatures with someone else.
