Pokémon Go Fest is coming to Chicago next month, but if you missed out on getting a ticket in the initial sale, you're gonna have to shell out a couple hundred bucks to ticket scalpers.

Tickets for Niantic's Pokémon Go Fest went on sale Monday morning, but the $20 tickets sold out in 15 minutes, Polygon reported today. Scalpers turned around and put the tickets up for sale through third party resellers like eBay and Stubhub with individual ticket prices ranging from $150 to $1,000.

Pokémon Go Fest, Niantic's first festival around their wildly popular mobile game, will take place July 22 at Grant Park in Chicago. Along with having an opportunity to meet up with other Pokémon Go fans, attendees will get increased Pokémon encounters, access to special PokéStops, and the chance to work with other players to complete challenges.

Unfortunately, a lot of fans who missed out on getting tickets in the normal sale likely won't be able to go thanks to the greediness of scalpers. Unless they're willing to shell out at least $150, of course.

Some people are bidding on the high-priced tickets to go to the event, but most of the highest-priced tickets haven't been touched.

For those who can't attend because they were locked out from buying tickets or don't want to make the trek to Chicago, some Pokémon Go Fest rewards will still be made available to players, Pokémon Go said on Twitter.
