'Pokémon GO' and accompanying Pokéball wearable launching in U.S. next month
Pokémon trainers desperate to go capture monsters out in the real world won't have much longer to wait.
After months of closed betas and international testing, Pokémon Go will launch in the U.S. in July, Nintendo announced at E3 this week. The augmented reality smartphone game allows players to find their own Pokémon scattered across the real world -- then battle against other users.
The game -- being developed by Niantic Labs in partnership with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company -- was announced last year and has been in wider release in Australia and New Zealand.
