Pokémon Go, the augmented reality mobile game that everyone seems to be playing, can be quite daunting for beginners. Catching Pokémon and collecting items at PokéStops is easy enough, but which Pokémon should you evolve to get the best bang for your buck time? The game doesn't answer this question, nor does it even let you know the stats of your Pokémon.

A self-described community of Reddit-based Pokémon enthusiasts called the Silph Road aims to change that. They've collected a ton of information on the inner workings of the game and have now released a handy chart showing you which Pokémon are worth your time.

A word of warning: Reading past this point will essentially SPOIL the game for you. Some people prefer to find all this stuff out by themselves; If you're in that group, stop reading now.

In a newly launched section of its website called Research, Silph Road has posted a handy chart showing the hidden attack, defense and stamina attributes of every Pokémon in the game. Most players aren't familiar with these attributes, as the game only shows the Combat Power (CP) and Hit Points (HP) attributes for each creature. But it's not that simple; if two Pokémon with same CP value fight, the one that has the bigger attack attribute will hit harder.

While we can't be sure this Silph Road data is 100 percent correct, it does confirm anecdotal evidence we've seen on the web: Pokémon that are rare, such as Mewtwo, or hard to evolve, like Dragonite, are the strongest. And the much-coveted Vaporeon is one of the best Pokémon in the game, given how cheap it is to evolve.

The site also has an overview of game events which earn you experience, as well as a list of trainer level requirements and bonuses.

This chart, while comprehensive, does not exactly "solve" the game for you. For example, you still have to know the optimal time when you should start evolving your Pokémon, and that special attacks can be game-changers. But given the game's popularity, it's just a matter of time before a complete guide with every little detail on the game's mechanics shows up.
