A few egos likely deflated on Tuesday when several Dutch police officers broke down an apartment door to rescue a plastic blow-up doll.

According to Dutch News, police rushed to an East Amsterdam residence Tuesday after neighbors reported seeing a woman in black lingerie standing listlessly at a window.

Worried the woman may be hurt, the officers tried to get her attention by ringing the doorbell and banging on the door. Unfortunately, she did not answer, so they were forced to smash their way into the building themselves.

The woman they found was indeed motionless, but it wasn't because she was hurt. She was probably just deflating a little or something, because she was, again, a blow-up doll.

The station later posted about the mix-up on Facebook, expressing its relief that no human person was actually in danger.

We are not sure where the blow-up doll's owner was during the incident, but we're sure he or she has since selected a better storage space.
