Somehow a thief was caught with the most amateur doodle

Another day, another hilarious police sketch.

Another day, another hilarious police sketch.

This time, we're treated to more of a doodle than a detailed illustration from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While in search of a robber who made out with cash from Central Market by posing as an employee, a witness whipped up a sketch that somehow miraculously managed to trigger the memory of an investigator.

"While the sketch provided by the witness may have appeared amateurish and cartoonish, it, along with the distinctive physical descriptors, jogged the memory of at least one investigator to provide a potential suspect name," the Lancaster Bureau of Police reads.

Only, the sketch is really really horrible. People had a field day on Twitter when CBS News reported the story and shared the image online.

Despite everyone getting a kick out of the sketch, the 44-year-old robber—Hung Phuoc Nguyen—has not been found. If you have any information, you can reach the Lancaster Police at (717) 735-3300 or Lancaster Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-1913.
