This porta potty smells a little different than the rest.

Police in Rogue River, Oregon, were perplexed after a man walking his dog in the park discovered a portable toilet filled with marijuana plants on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.

After the discovery was made, cops determined this was the largest seizure of cannabis in department history.

Chief Ken Lewis is still unsure exactly how the pot plants ended up in the sh*tter, but he told the Associated Press that it could be anything from a "pick-up point" to an angry neighbor upset with the recent legalization in Oregon.

While it's cute for the cops to think that pot dealers would willingly put their hard work in the toilet as a place of exchange where weed is recreationally legal, a few Facebook commenters had a much more likely scenario.

Many people noticed that the plants themselves had no buds, making them nearly useless for anyone attempting to smoke the green stuff.

Another pointed out that these plants easily could have been stolen from someone's garden. In Oregon, it's legal for adults 21 and over to grow up to four plants as long as they're out of the view of the public.

Or considering the sad state of the plants, a novice grower could have simply disposed of their failed project.

In a separate post on Facebook, the police department announced that they chopped up the plants in a wood chipper, and it will now be used for mulch.
