Post Malone's failed crowd surf probably didn't make him feel like much of a rockstar

You just can't rely on the fans sometimes.

Post Malone might not have been feeling like a rockstar after his Sunday show in Illinois.

The rapper known for hits like "Congratulations" and "Rockstar" jumped into the crowd at his concert in an attempted crowd surf—and fell straight to the ground. Ouch.

All he needed was a young Patrick Swayze to catch him and lift him in the air, because no one puts baby in the corner, or in this case, watch him hit the floor.

Despite the fall (shown in every angle possible), it didn't stop the rapper from continuing to perform his Billboard hit. If that's not dedication then what is.

It didn't take long for fans to poke fun at the incident. One Twitter user even referencing to the trust fall scene from Mean Girls.

Later that night, Malone laughed it off and made a joke about the incident on Twitter. "Felt like Jack Black in School of Rock tonight when I staged dived and nobody caught my fat ass," he wrote.

Thankfully, he wasn't hurt and he learned a valuable lesson: never rely on anyone to catch you in a stage dive.
