The Internet is so not feeling the new 'Power Rangers' suits
Your first look at the new Power Rangers suits has arrived.
The new Rangers' new outfits -- for the upcoming feature reboot of the classic children's action series -- debuted on Entertainment Weekly Thursday.
Gone are the old spandex suits from the original series -- now, the Rangers will don "translucent extraterrestrial armor that crystallizes around their bodies," according to EW.

Safe to say, people have some... thoughts about the new armored costumes, particularly the ones for the female characters.
The Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger (played by Naomi Scott and Becky G) wear extremely form-fitting armor, as well as what appear to be wedge heels.
Twitter, including everyone's favorite model/cookbook author/TV host Chrissy Teigen, is not happy about it.

Additionally, many are put off by the Rangers' "gritty" new look -- a departure from the original's campy but fun spandex. Plus, the new suits remind everyone of a certain Marvel superhero.
