As polls close across the nation, now is the time to pick out an interactive 2024 Election results map and follow live updates to see whether Kamala Harris or Donald Trump will be the next president.

It's not clear yet how long it will take to call an official winner — and post-2020 technological investments could speed up the counting process. In the lead up to the election, interactive predictive maps and visuals, like 538's extensive polling visualizations, have provided a lens for Americans to conceptualize the potential tightness of this year's race. As the tense wait continues, resources like 270toWin's Interactive Presidential Election Map, PBS' Electoral College Map, and ABC's Interactive Electoral Map, have let election watchers make their own predictions and forecasts as the results come in.

But Americans want the official results, and they wan't them as soon as possible. So here's more live-updated visual aids to follow for updates as Election Day charges on.
