Everything coming to Amazon Prime Video in October 2019

Well, there's good news and there's bad news.

On the one hand, Amazon Prime Video has a handful of really great movies lined up for this October. On the other hand, Toy Story 4, Midsommar, Annabelle Comes Home, and Spider-Man: Far From Home (RIP, Marvel Spidey) are all only available for rent or purchase.

Inspired by the popular New York Times column of the same name, Modern Love is an anthology series examining what romance means in 2019.

Starring Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, John Slattery, Dev Patel, and half a dozen other folks you probably love, the series will be split into half-hour, self-contained episodes and feature some of the column's most beloved stories. No telling yet whether they'll be half as moving as they were in their original form, but we're holding out hope.

Modern Love Season 1 is begins streaming on Prime Video Oct. 18.
