Prince Harry's response when asked about fiancée Meghan Markle is as perfect as the ring

Awwww!

By now, if you're not hiding under a rock you probably know Prince Harry is getting married to Meghan Markle next year.

In their first public appearance just a few hours after announcing their engagement, the happy couple posed for a photocall at Kensington Palace Gardens where, you know, Markle had the chance to show the world the engagement ring and so on.

But despite the usual questions such as whether the proposal was romantic ("of course it was!" said Harry) the couple was actually really adorable, clutching their hands tightly and exchanging loving glances.

When a reporter asked the groom-to-be "when did you know she was the one?", Harry replied: "From the very first time we met."

Isn't that incredibly sweet?

We know everyone is interested in the engagement ring, so here's the story.

The ring was designed personally by Prince Harry and made by Cleave and Company, court jewellers and medallists to his grandmother, The Queen.

At the centre is a diamond from Botswana, the African country which was visited by the couple while they were dating and holds a special place in Harry's heart since he was a child.

The outside stones are diamonds from the personal collection of Prince Harry's mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The band is gold.
