Want some sweet, sweet Prince merch? Head to a Twins game.

Minnesota Twins are releasing official merchandise honouring late Minneapolis icon Prince, in a new partnership with Universal's merch company Bravado.

Only available at the Majestic Twins Clubhouse Store at Target Field, Prince clothing, pins, patches, baseballs and other bits and pieces will be sold at the Twins home opener against the Seattle Mariners on Thursday, April 5.

The team will also sell the merch at the Twins' second annual Prince night, on Friday, June 8, at which the first 10,000 people through the door will nab a purple inflatable Prince guitar, which will be held up in a moment of remembrance during the game.

And we did say second Prince night — last year, they gave out Purple Rain umbrellas that everyone's selling on eBay now.

Honestly, the real winner is this sweet, sweet co-branded Prince/Twins purple hat that you can only buy with a "Prince Theme Night package," and pick up from the stadium on the day. These range from $26 for home run porch tickets to $81 for a home plate box mid seat.

"All of us in the Twins organization were deeply saddened by the loss of the late Minneapolis icon Prince," said Twins President and CEO Dave St. Peter in a press statement. "Along with our fans, we look forward to celebrating the legacy of a man who brought an international spotlight to our great city."

We're not even sure whether Prince liked baseball. If fact, it looks like he was more into basketball. But he was born in Minneapolis, and we're into those purple hats.

Maybe they were inspired by Justin Timberlake's polarizing Super Bowl tribute?
