The 'official' Prince tribute concert is on next month, and it is loaded
This dance ain't gonna be for everybody. Just the sexy Prince people.
Plans for the "official" Prince tribute concert -- the one with his family's blessing and all -- have finally solidified, and you'll want to be there if you've got the extra time.
"Prince: The Official Prince Tribute -- A Celebration of Life & Music" is ready to roar on Oct. 13 (as previously reported), but not at the new U.S. Bank Stadium (also as previously reported). Instead, it'll be held at the Xcel Energy Center in the Twin City of St. Paul.

No matter -- the talent on deck will have every Prince fan begging ticketholders: "Take me with you."
Also come to party: Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Tori Kelly and more, including Prince "inner-circle" members such as the reunited New Power Generation, Morris Day & The Time, Judith Hill, Liv Warfield and 3RDEYEGIRL.
Ticket sales haven't been announced, and while a few details are still a little squishy, don't expect any controversy.
