Come for the tweet, stay for the replies.

Pro wrestling: Folks who love it really love it, while folks who don't like it love to look down on it.

The latest to illustrate this dynamic is Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followhill, who got shouted down by pro wrestling fans on Twitter in pretty hilarious fashion after sharing a snide thought on Sunday night.

Here was Jared, innocently idling away a Sunday night when he had a thought: Pro wrestling. What's up with that? So Jared shared his thought on the good ol' global town square.

Classic mistake! The replies were fast and furious. Here's a good one.

LMAO. Roasted. Owned, even.

Wrestling GIFs were deployed as well.

This next one's a classic Twitter reply from the tried and true how-dare-ye-judge genre.

Victor here has a good question, though.

Jared quickly realized the folly of his stray thought. So he posted this.

But wrestling Twitter still wasn't really having it.

Jared kept on a-trying, though.

And he kept on getting a-roasted in the replies.

This next one's pretty great.

😭 💀 😭 💀 😭 💀 😭 💀 😭 💀 😭 💀

Jared, though, was determined to tweet through it.

That was Sunday night ...

... when Monday morning rolled around, he was still at it.

And this is us moving along now. But we're drawn again to Victor's question from earlier: Did this go how you thought it would, Jared?
