There's a new, official controller coming for the PlayStation 4, and it looks like a throwback to the controllers of the early '90s.

Sony revealed the Mini Wired Gamepad on Tuesday. It's a smaller, grip-less version of the standard PS4 controller -- the DualShock 4 -- designed for players with smaller hands. Its diminished size means no touchpad, light bar, speaker, headphone jack, motion sensor, or vibration, but it comes at a much lower price: $29.99.

Here's a comparison between the Mini Wired Gamepad and the DualShock 4:

Sony specifically advertises the Mini Wired Gamepad to younger gamers, but it also could be beneficial to adults with small hands (like Donald Trump), players who can only play with one hand, or for those who just loved the simplicity of the SNES controller.

The Mini Wired Gamepad comes out this holiday season.
