Rihanna's new jelly slides look like those cheap sandals found all over Asia

Yet another case of designers making expensive versions of cheap things.

No matter which way you look at them, there's no denying these Rihanna x Puma Fenty Jelly Slides look exactly like the cheap plastic sandals found just about everywhere across Asia.

I mean, just look.

These pairs for example, are available for as little as $1 each.

And clearly, we aren't the only ones to notice the resemblance.

These plastic "jelly" slippers are a common sight across Asia, and are often sold cheaply in places like markets and roadside stalls.

The slippers, which are waterproof and known for their rubbery grip, are also sometimes worn to wet markets or toilets.

RiRi hasn't revealed how much these cost, but her older slipper collection with Puma went for around $90/pair, so we're guessing it might be somewhere within that range.

But if that's out of your budget, feel free to pick up a pair at your local Asian market for $1 -- not like anyone can tell the difference anyway.
