One of the most unexpected rare delights of 2018 (and they are rare) is Netflix's Queer Eye reboot, which came out in February and made us feel all kinds of warm, fuzzy feelings we'd forgotten about over the past couple years.

Season 2 debuted months before anyone expected, on June 15, and the eight new episodes exemplify everything we love about Queer Eye.

Here are 11 times the latest season restored our faith in humanity. (Spoilers ahead if you consider Queer Eye a spoilable show.)

1. When you find out Tammye wants to redo her local community center instead of her home (Episode 1)

2. When Bobby sings with Tammye's church choir

The show's architecture expert opens up about regularly attending church throughout his childhood. After he came out, his community severed ties with him, and he stopped going to church. With Tammye as inspiration, he sings with her choir and starts to come to grips with his relationship to religion.

3. When Tammye preaches tolerance for the gay community at her church

4. When William tears up while planning his proposal (Episode 2)

Karamo and William discuss the perfect rom-com proposal, and William just can't handle how right it is for his girlfriend, Shannon, and himself.

5. When William proposes

Shannon is already in tears of fitful emotion from the rom-com video preamble. Then he gets down on one knee with his fresh new haircut and white suit and pops the question and we ARE SO DONE.

6. When Jason gets the guys T-shirts to say thanks (Episode 4)

He had such a good experience! He's totally going to get with his crush! He loves Burning Man!

7. When Skyler sees himself in a fitted suit for the first time (Episode 5)

It seems like a small thing, but it's a pivotal moment for our episode hero, who can't stop smiling.

"I felt like there I was. Right there," Skyler tells Tan later.

8. When Tan asks Skyler about his trans experience

A tearful Tan tells Skyler he feels stupid. The episode is eye-opening for all of us, but Tan in particular, who admits he isn't very immersed in the queer community and has never even met a trans person before. Understanding comes from listening.

9. When Skyler meets Todrick Hall

Skyler invokes the YouTube star as a style icon and cultural hero multiple times in the episode. Karamo works his magic, and Hall arrives to surprise Skyler at his home, where they bond over his new clothes and lifestyle, and then move on to deeper topics like Skyler's transition, surgery, and family.

10. When Arian's mom tells him she believes in him (Episode 6)

The Fab Five observe some clear tension when Ari comes clean about his secret: He hasn't graduated. But after a few moments of initial shock, his mother, Parvin, to whom he confesses, tells him she believes in his ability to focus, buckle down, and finish school as planned. Aw.

11. When Sean thanks the Fab Five for giving him confidence (Episode 7)

The home-schooled musical prodigy seeks the usual Queer Eye upgrade, but the guys take it upon themselves to help get him ready for college social life, too. He grows from his time with them, and even his mother senses a newfound maturity.

Queer Eye Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
