Radiohead has announced several 2016 tour dates, marking the band's first batch of such shows since 2012 -- and in addition to its already-announced festival dates.

The tour, which includes stops in New York and Los Angeles, kicks off in May -- which left many fans wondering when a new album will drop. No details are known about the project, which would be the followup to 2011's The King of Limbs.

The band announced the tour news on Twitter, along with what could be the hypothetical album's cover art.
