Toilet rat bites Irish man’s bum, prompting city-wide scare
LONDON -- That old saying about how you're never further than six feet away from a rat at any time might be truer than you think.
Even our precious, precious toilets are no longer safe.

The incident was discussed during a meeting at a Cork County Council.
"The flooding resulted in another problem for residents, that of rat infestations, which really upset many families, mentally and physically," Councillor Noel Collins said.
"Indeed, one elderly gentleman suffered a rat bite to his posterior while using his toilet, and had to receive immediate medical attention."
"I would advise homeowners to keep their toilet seats down when not in use, and to watch their posteriors."
