How to reactivate your Instagram account
If you disabled your Instagram account, you'll be happy to know it's not gone for good.

1. Just go to Instagram (on the app or on desktop) and log in just as you would normally.
The log-in will automatically reactivate your account. Yay! You're done.
However, if you deleted your account instead of temporarily disabling it, you won't be able to log back into it. That account is gone and you'll have to make a new one.
Instagram says that you can use the same email address as the one you used to create your old account, but you might not be able to use the same username. So if you've been thinking about getting rid of your IG, consider temporarily disabling it before a full-on deletion.
We even have a tutorial on how to do just that right here.
