For most of history, men have been given a lead in everything. From being the first person to fly around the world to being the first person to walk on the moon, it seems like the first person to do many cool things has more often than not been a man.

Alli and Jen are sick of it. In Mashable's new Facebook Watch show Record BreakHers, the two comedians will embark on a mission to break some of the most ridiculous world records held by men, from a face-off with snails to leap frogging with the speed of a cheetah.

Along the way, they'll meet the ghosts of the unappreciated women of history. Ever heard of Mary Anning, one of the first female paleontologists? Probably not -- but you'll get a chance to hear from her in the first episode of Record BreakHers! Tune in every Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET to root for Alli and Jen, and to learn a little about the original women breaking records throughout history.
