Reddit is one of the largest online communities, and some of the most important conversations happen on the site -- be it in the form of popular AMA (ask me anything) interviews or detailed, social-driven coverage of breaking news events.

In March 2015, Reddit introduced an option to embed parts of those conversations on other sites. But you could only embed comments and not Reddit posts -- until now.

The post-embedding feature was in private beta for a while, but now it's available to everyone.

To embed a post, click on the "share" link below the post's title, and choose embed. Embedding a comment is even easier, as every comment on the site now has an "embed" link under it.

Below is an example of an embedded Reddit post.

And here's a comment (with a parent comment included) on that same post.

Both the post and comment embed let you swap the code with a Facebook Instant Article-friendly version. The new post embedding feature also lets you choose whether you want to see the media preview.

The embedding feature plays well with other types of content, not only images. Check out a GIF post below.

Reddit has introduced some significant new features and updates lately, the biggest of these being official iOS and Android apps, which launched in April. The apps, which have been a long time in the making, replaced the Alien Blue app which Reddit acquired in Oct. 2014.
