Rihanna's Nice, France concert canceled in light of terrorist attack
Rihanna has canceled her Nice, France concert scheduled for Friday July 15, in light of the tragic Bastille Day terrorist attack that killed at least 84 people.
On Thursday evening, a truck plowed into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day just hours after French President Francois Hollande announced France would be lifting their state of emergency.
The singer announced that her concert would not be going on in an Instagram post.

"Due to the tragic events in #Nice, my concert scheduled for tomorrow July 15 at Allianz Stadium will not be going ahead as planned. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families 😢" Rihanna wrote.
The concert was set to be at Nice's Allianz Stadium, as part of Rihanna's Anti World Tour. There is no word on whether she will be canceling any of her other French tour stops. Her next show in France is on Tuesday, July 19 in Lyon, which is approximately a four hour drive north of Nice.
