The first trailer for a new Robin Hood film starring Taron Egerton (Eggsy from Kingsman) came out on Thursday, and people were a bit confused by the costumes.

It's true, the costume-design department seems to have played fast and loose with historical accuracy. One shot includes evil goons equipped with old-timey riot shields.
