Pearl Jam and Tupac among nominees for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

What does Tupac have in common with Janet Jackson and Pearl Jam? All three are among the 19 artists nominated to join the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Artists and music professionals vote on the top five inductees who will qualify for the Hall of Fame. The winners will be announced in December and officially inducted in April 2017.

The full list comprises of: Bad Brains, Chaka Khan, Chic, Depeche Mode, Electric Light Orchestra ELO, The J. Geils Band, Janes Addiction, Janet Jackson, Joan Baez, Joe Tex, Journey, Kraftwerk, MC5, Pearl Jam, Steppenwolf, The Cars,The Zombies, Tupac Shakur and Yes.
