Trump accidentally stood next to Darth Vader and this is why symbolism exists

Here are two things that happened at the same time: as Donald Trump answered questions in the Air Force One press cabin, Darth Vader made his first cameo in Rogue One.

Wild that so many people saw a Star Wars movie playing on Air Force One and immediately thought, "this diabolical movie villain and the president of the United States are similar," right?

It's not comforting. But it is pretty funny.

Still, a smattering of Twitter-ers showed up to defend Darth Vader. Remember when he was just a tiny Anakin? By contrast, Donald Trump's midichlorian count is zero. Sad!

(TBH, though, Vader did kill a bunch of kids. He's pretty much as bad as it gets.)
