Our first look at Donald Glover in the Han Solo movie is a major tease, and we're here for it
Hollywood filmmakers must abide by certain rules, and one of the newer ones is this: Cast Donald Glover in everything. The Emmy-nominated Atlanta star will play a young Lando Calrissian in Disney's untitled Han Solo movie, and director Ron Howard gave us a little sneak peek on Tuesday.
Glover appears on the monitor, in character as Lando and seemingly upon a spacecraft (is this before Han had his beloved Millennium Falcon?). He's in a yellow jacket previously teased by Howard, but missing Lando's impressive collection of space capes.
Is Lando on board with frenemy Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich)? Or is he alone -- flying toward their first meeting or (more likely) flying away from a dangerous predicament? Even with his little teasers, Howard sure won't tell us.
The Han Solo film opens May 25, 2018.
