Of course Ron Swanson made canoe paddles for his 'Parks & Rec' pals
When you're Ron Swanson and you want to show affection for your workplace proximity associates, you fashion canoe paddles. Obviously.
That's exactly what Parks & Recreation star -- and noted woodworking enthusiast -- Nick Offerman did with wood he swiped from the set of the now-finished series. Surely you've realized this by now: Offerman actually is a real-life version of Swanson.

Parks & Rec co-creator Michael Schur -- who goes by "Ken Tremendous" on Twitter -- shared a photo of Offerman's creation. The paddle has a "City of Pawnee, Indiana" logo burned into it.

Offerman's interest in woodworking is well-documented. His memoir bears the title Paddle Your Own Canoe and he also sells handmade wood creations through his website, Offerman Wood Shop.
