Disney star bears scary resemblance to real serial killer in 'My Friend Dahmer'
We already knew that Teen Beach Movie star Ross Lynch was going to play Jeffrey Dahmer in the independent film My Friend Dahmer, but what we didn't know was how closely he'd resemble the Milwaukee-area serial killer.
The resemblance, as seen below in a photo that was recently posted to Instagram, is absolutely frightening.
Based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Nerf Backderf, who grew up with Dahmer in Ohio, My Friend Dahmer offers a sympathetic look at the serial killer, who was just a shy, awkward teenager back in the day.

The film could introduce Lynch to a whole new audience unfamiliar with his squeaky-clean past as a Disney star, as Dahmer -- a serial killer who preyed upon young gay men and often cannibalized his victims. His friends, parents and teachers ignored his descent into alcoholism and madness as a young man.
The Avengers star Jeremy Renner made a name for himself playing Dahmer in a 2002 movie, but Lynch's portrayal should be more complex, and (hopefully) more compelling.
