Halladay was one of the game's top pitchers during his playing time. He was one of a handful of Major League Baseball pitchers who has won a Cy Young award in both the American and National leagues. His no-hitter for the Phillies over the Reds in the 2010 National League Division Series was only the second post-season no-hitter in MLB history.
On the mound, he topped 15 wins in eight different seasons and hit the 20-win mark three separate times. He was also known for his durability, leading either league in complete games, now a rarity, a total of seven times. Halladay retired after his 2013 season on the Phillies.
