Find maps boring? These ones only feature rude place names for LOLs
When a company's founding partners share the names are Strumpshaw, Tincleton and Giggleswick you know you're in for a ridiculous ride.
ST&G are purveyors of maps that are a little bit naughty. Making maps highlighting lewd-sounding (yet totally real) place names in Britain, the U.S. and now Australia, is the the crude cartographers' schtick.
Their mission? "To scour the English-speaking world for wonderful place names, liven up walls and cause outbursts of inappropriately childish laughter." And they do it well.

Perhaps we use this as an example that humans should have some sort of vetting process when it comes to naming things? Seems like that Boaty McBoatface humour's been around since way before the internet became a thing.
