From the annals of "two wrongs don't make a right," we present the start of the United States of America's attempt to elect two presidents in a row who have appeared on WWE.

This is the part of the article where I'm supposed to describe Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, but you all know who this guy is, so I'll just move onto the next sentence.

A man by the name of Kenton Tilford filed a campaign committee on Sunday called "Run the Rock 2020," with the goal of drafting The Rock to run for president of the United States.

Lest you think this is outlandish, do remember who our current president is, and also don't forget that The Rock has made it known he's not joking about a potential 2020 run.

Now, that said, the connection between Tilford and The Rock is unclear, if there's a connection at all. Tilford lives in West Virginia, and the Federal Election Commission filing says the campaign isn't authorized. We called him, but his voicemail box (surprise) is full. We also sent an email, so we'll let you know what the man says.

In case you're curious, The Rock has said he's an independent.
