Watch Russell Westbrook commit quite possibly the funniest traveling violation in NBA history
Russell Westbrook is a face-melting meteor streaking across the NBA skies. He eats triple-doubles for breakfast and dunks on defenders for dessert.
Westbrook went for 27 points, 15 rebounds, 13 assists and his usual assortment of did-that-really-just-happen moments in a losing effort Wednesday night against the Warriors and former teammate Kevin Durant.
But Westbrook's greatest highlight of the night was actually a lowlight. A very, very entertaining lowlight.
Westbrook received an inbounds pass in the third quarter, then began to bring the ball up for the Thunder to set up on offense. That's normal -- except Westbrook somehow completely forgot to dribble the ball. The results are these hilarious videos.

In a slightly shocking twist for the NBA, where traveling rules aren't exactly strictly enforced, the violation was actually called by an official.
That was one of Westbrook's 10 turnovers on the night, meaning -- along with his 27 points, 15 rebounds, 13 assists -- that the Thunder star accomplished the exceedingly rare and rather ignominious quadruple-double stat-line against Golden State.
More remarkably still, it was Westbrook's second such line in the past week.
