And they don't have cookies.

In case you haven't heard, today is Star Wars Day due to the latent pun in the date May 4.

So in the midst of a timeline full of Star Wars references, it almost went unnoticed when the Russian Embassy in the U.K. tweeted out their own Star Wars-themed post of the day.

In the world of bold moves, this may be one of the boldest. The Russian Embassy's tweet essentially told all of us that they are on the Dark Side. What?

And can we just point out that the account didn't just choose any old Vader photo. They chose one where Vader is taking a casual selfie in front of slain bodies, one of them being one of his own men.

People pretty quickly picked up on what the Russian Embassy was undoubtedly going for.

Sassy is one way to put it. The embassy also recently made headlines for trolling a headline from The Times stating that Brussels was messing with the U.K. election.

Snark has actually always been this Twitter account's thing. Sprinkled in among the inspiring pictures of beautiful Russian landmarks, the Russian Embassy routinely takes snapshots of headlines to make wry comments about them.

So for those that have been following along, their Vader tweet may seem par for the course.

But for the rest of us, we are still sitting in shock that an official Russian Embassy just confirmed that they are the Dark Side.
