Does two goals and a new baby count as a hattrick?

Footballer Ryan Colclough had a truly extraordinary night on Tuesday. Wigan were playing Doncaster and he was on top form having scored one goal already, when at half-time he heard that his partner had gone into labour.

He stayed just long enough to score Wigan's third goal of the match, before rushing off to be with his partner as she gave birth to their son.

Many were happy to see the picture of Colclough still representing Wigan while holding his new baby.

It's congratulations all round at Wigan!
