Man runs across tarmac to catch Ryanair flight

Misses final boarding call, goes wild.

Missing a plane at the last minute is an extremely stressful experience, as anyone who has had this happen to them knows.

Sometimes you wish you could just bypass security, leap off the plane bridge, run across the tarmac and board the plane as it takes off, just like playing a scene from Uncharted 3.

One man literally decided to do just that in Madrid-Barajas Airport in Spain. Except he didn't get to the part of boarding the plane.

Video footage show the passenger jumping off the jetway onto the tarmac and trying to convince the driver of a baggage cart to get a lift to the Boeing 727, who had already left the terminal.

Then, with two bags in his hands, he is seen running toward the waiting plane. The man is finally stopped by two airport crew. He was reportedly allowed to board on the Canary Islands-plane but was detained upon landing.

The video was posted by the CC.OO. Ryanair and Lesma Handling on Facebook with the caption:

"This particular passenger was missing a Ryanair's flight and, unbelievably, skipped several security protocols established by AENA. We're talking about level 4 security protocols! Not even with all those protocols we can feel safe..."
