The Internet can't say no to a good burger with Papaw.

Kenneth Harmon, now famously known as "Sad Papaw" on the Internet thanks to his granddaughter, Kelsey Harmon's, viral picture of him sadly eating a burger after 5 of his 6 grandkids stood him up for dinner.

After an outpour of heartbreaking and encouraging messages from people touched by Harmon's story, another one of Sad Papaw's grandchildren, Brock Harmon, stepped up to the plate and helped to organize a giant cookout for anyone who wished to attend.

The Harmons planned for the cookout in Purcell, Oklahoma on Saturday, hoping that this time, Sad Papaw would not be left disappointed.

Attendees would pay $2 for each burger they ate, and the family was also setting "I ate a burger with Sad Papaw" t-shirts for $16. The Harmons ordered over 2,000 burgers for the attendees.

Of course, the Internet can't resist a good burger and a hug from grandpa.

Hundreds of people came to the cookout. Some attendees drove several hours to spend some time with Papaw.

Not only were the burgers in high demand, some people waited in line for over 45 minutes to take a picture with him.

Looks like Sad Papaw is not sad anymore.
