10 office pranks that won't get you fired. Probably.
Office pranks are all about riding the fine line between genuinely tricking a coworker and still being allowed back to work the next day.
The thing is, you're a busy person and your job is important -- you don't want to have to sit down with HR because your prank emotionally devastated your office neighbor.

Luckily, there are plenty of pranks that are good but just nice enough to not get you canned.
1. Fill a cubicle with packing peanuts (but not really).
2. Plant seeds in an identical dummy keyboard, wait for them to sprout and switch out the keyboards.
3. Install some fun Chrome extensions on their computer.
This one is "Hey Girl" but there are many more!
4. Steal a coworkers phone (briefly) and cover it in rubber bands
5. Play the long con with some desk gum.

6. Make someone's computer read them Moby Dick all day.

You can switch out the link with any other book file.

8. Flip someone's desktop upside down.
Open up the Display tab in System Preferences while holding down CTRL and Option to open up a Rotation menu. Select 180°.
9. Using an identical mug, freeze coffee overnight and replace it with someone's hot coffee when they're away from their desk.
10. Replace every framed desk photo in the office with a picture of yourself.
