Awards season is in full swing! Fresh off the 2023 Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild has announced the nominees for this year's SAG Awards. These selections often set the tone for the acting categories at the Academy Awards, as all four winners in the individual film categories at last year's SAG Awards went on to win the Oscar.

The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once have emerged as heavyweight contenders, each picking up four nominations in individual categories and a nomination for Best Ensemble. Golden Globe winners like Cate Blanchett, Michelle Yeoh, Colin Farrell, and Austin Butler will have a chance to repeat their wins.

On the television side, newly minted Golden Globe winner for Best Drama Series, House of the Dragon, was shut out everywhere except in the Stunt Ensemble category, leaving the race wide open for shows like Severance and Better Call Saul.
