British politician butt tweets and the responses on Twitter are absolute magic

Nice work.

Another day, another butt tweet posted by a politician.

This time, British Home Secretary Sajid Javid had a mild Twitter mishap, which prompted the Twittersphere to fill in the blanks.

On 9:09 a.m. on Sunday, Javid tweeted a lone letter: "I." How very esoteric.

Of course, everyone loves a bit of wordplay. So, people decided to fill in the blanks on Javid's behalf.

Could Javid have been tweeting out the start of The Human League's "Don't You Want Me"?

Or, "I like to move it?"

Or Whitney Houston's "I wanna dance with somebody."

This one seems the most likely explanation, though. Javid was probably singing "I'm a little teapot."

14 minutes later, Javid ended the suspense and explained his mysterious tweet, by turning it into a sentence.

"...pocket tweeted," he wrote.

Good work, Javid.
