Sam Altman and OpenAI employees are flooding the timeline with heart emojis
Did you hear? Sam Altman is out, and the heart emoji is in.
Altman was ousted as the CEO of OpenAI, a company he co-founded, and people are pissed. According to a letter to OpenAI's board, most of the OpenAI staff are threatening to leave the company and join Microsoft, which hired Altman, if OpenAI doesn't reinstate him. The people love the man.
Many of the OpenAI employees have posted on X, formerly Twitter, "OpenAI is nothing without its people." And, in response, Altman has been quote-posting the messages with a red heart emoji ❤️.
