Samsung's Galaxy S21 FE may be a little late, but it is coming, and now we know a little more about its features and specifications.

The company's affordable flagship (FE stands for "fan edition") will have a 6.4-inch display, a 4,370mAh battery, 5G support, and a dual SIM slot. On the software side, it will run Android 11.

This is according to a regulatory filing for the phone in China (via SamMobile), which also means that Samsung definitely does plan to go forward with the launch. Previous reports indicated that Samsung may skip the FE variant of its flagship this year due to chip shortages, but the most recent report said the phone will likely see a limited launch in Europe and the U.S. in October.

According to previous reports, the Galaxy S21 FE will come with either an Exynos 2100 or a Snapdragon 888 processor, a triple rear camera, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.

Notably, these reports also said the Galaxy S21 FE would have a 6.5-inch, AMOLED display, but if the regulatory filing is to be believed, it'll be a little smaller at 6.4 inches.

As for the phone's design, Android Headlines recently leaked what appear to be promotional renders of the device.

The renders show that the phone will be quite similar to the regular Samsung Galaxy S21, with a bump hosting the triple rear camera, and a centrally positioned punch-hole selfie camera on the front.

Thanks to these renders, we also get to see four colors (presumably all the available colors) of the Galaxy S21 FE — lilac, white, green, and black.
