Samsung has officially announced its next Unpacked event, which will happen at 10 a.m. ET on Sept. 1, 2020.

At this event, which will be hosted virtually on Samsung's website, the company will launch its next foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold2.

"Show's not over. Watch the shape of the future change at Unpacked Part 2, September 1, 2020," Samsung said in a tweet.

Samsung didn't mention it, but the event coincides with IFA Berlin, which officially kicks off on Sept. 3 in a limited physical (and a larger virtual) setting in Berlin.

Samsung says everyone will be able to follow the event live both at samsung.com and news.samsung.com.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 was pre-announced earlier this month, with Samsung revealing some details about the device, including the dual 6.2-inch/7.6-inch display and Mystic Bronze/Mystic Black colors. The company said it would unveil all of the details on Sept. 1.
