Scarlett Johansson makes perfect return as Ivanka Trump on 'SNL'

Last week's Christmas cold open didn't really count, and neither did last last week's, so let's ignore them for now to focus on Saturday's special Christmas message from the Saturday Night Live White House, starring Alec Baldwin as everyone's favorite Commander-in-Chief and a surprise appearance by Scarlett Johansson as the ever-complicit first daughter.

They're here to deck the halls and wish us all a Merry Christmas.

"That's right you can finally say that again because the war on Christmas is over," Baldwin's Trump said. "It will soon be replaced by the war with North Korea."

Amid promises of settling down and becoming "super presidential – that is until Don Lemon says something mean about me, and I tweet the actual n-word," the Trumps celebrated their many accomplishments – which mostly involved throwing dozens and dozens of confederates under the bus.

"In the Christmas spirit, I wanted to thank all the amazing people who work for me, but because I can't help myself, we're also going to remember the haters and losers I destroyed this year."

There's an ornament to fired FBI Director James Comey, ousted by Trump because of the Russia thing. Sean Spicer and Anthony Scaramucci, Mike Flynn, and the Sebastian Gorkas and Carter Pages of the world were well represented, ornaments to them all brought along by the SNL representations of Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon), Sarah Sanders (Aidy Bryant), and Eric and Don Jr. (Alex Moffat and Mikey Day).

And who else should stop by but the "favorite" Trump child, Ivanka, to present her father with a sparkling orb of Roy Moore for the Loser Tree.

"As I said, there's a special place in hell, and we're all there."
