Being a movie fan can sometimes feel like being a proud mom. Scott Pilgrim Twitter got unexpectedly nostalgic over the weekend, prompting one fan to share a photo of Brie Larson and Chris Evans sitting next to each other at a midnight screening.

"Future captains!" Larson replied excitedly to the tweet.

The shared photos, which became a Twitter moment, started with director Edgar Wright finding an old behind-the-scenes photo from the film's production in Toronto.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, based on the graphic novels by Brian Lee O'Malley, follows the title character (Michael Cera) as he has to fight his new girlfriend's seven evil exes. Evans plays Lucas Lee a.k.a. ex number 2, a swaggering action movie star with an impressive beard. Larson plays Scott's rock star ex who returns to town dating his next foe.

And now, as Larsen rightly notes, they're both Captains! Evans made his debut as Captain America the year after Scott Pilgrim's release, and Larsen is currently filming her first film as Captain Marvel.

Scott Pilgrim also stars a former Superman (Brandon Routh) along with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ellen Wong, Kieran Culkin, Aubrey Plaza, Anna Kendrick, Jason Schwartzman, and more. It's a pretty stacked cast, even without the Marvel connection – but a couple Captains doesn't hurt.
