Selena Gomez returns to the stage in surprise Cardi B Coachella performance
Selena Gomez made her triumphant return to the stage with a little help from her friends.
On Friday night, Gomez joined her pal DJ Snake's Coachella set to perform their hit song "Taki Taki" alongside Cardi BÂ and Ozuna. Not only was it Gomez's first time singing at Coachella, but it marked her first public performance since singing with her friend Taylor Swift at a May 2018 Reputation Tour stop.
Gomez has taken some time out of the spotlight following reports of a panic attack in 2018. She reportedly checked herself into a treatment facility to recover, and has been slowly reemerging, returning from her social media hiatus earlier in 2019.

In March, Billboard reported that Gomez has plans to release new music very soon, so perhaps the Coachella performance was just the beginning of her 2019 plans.
